Expansion Plans

Starting of Bosimi Apparel Division 

The Company has started a separate division named Bosimi Apparel under the Brand Name  “BOSIMI” wherein formal and casual shirts would be sold under the above brand name.

  • To promote downstream units for converting POY into value added products i.e. Texturised /Twisted Yarn & Fabric by developing Textile Cluster on the surplus land available.

  • To develop Textile Park, grant is available from SITP (Govt. of india, Ministry of Textile) that gives 90% of the cost as grant for promoting the downstream units.

  • North East is a very big market for the Textile Fabric as the entire demand is being met with the fabric brought from Surat / Kolkata markets.

  • PBSL shall transform from a POY manufacturing unit into a manufacturer of Value Added Yarn, separate Packaging Unit and a large Textile Park.

 

Expansion Plan Details:

  • Texturising Units: PBSL is in the process of installing Texturising machines for converting the POY into value added textured yarn. All the texturising machines will be installed on the existing infrastructure of the company thereby reducing the capital cost on land and building. PBSL will convert its entire POY product into value added Textured yarn.

  • Packaging Units: PBSL has also hived-off its existing Paper tube packaging and Carton manufacturing unit into a separate subsidiary. This packaging company will work as a separate SBU and will cater to both PBSL as well as needs of other packaging industries. This unit is also individually eligible for all various subsidies under North East Industrial Policy and State Government Policy.

  • Textile Park: PBSL has already incorporated a new wholly owned subsidiary viz. Prag Jyoti Textile Park Private Limited for setting up a Textile Park on a 60 acres land out of 99 acres already available with the Company. The necessary State Government approvals are in place and it is under process with Central Government for approval and the textile park is expected to go on stream. The expected capital cost shall be met by way of Central Government grant and PBSL contribution for development of infrastructure formalities by way of land. Company will take up on turnkey basis installing textile units in Textile Park with prior commitment from participants.

  • Capacity Expansion by 1,00,000 tpa: PBSL to commence expansion of its capacity from 45,000 tpa to 1,45,000 tpa in the near future.

    - Bottle Grade Chips - 20,000 tpa

    - Polyester Film - 40,000 tpa
